ISDN Implementation
The community school will have an IDSN connection into the Washington District
WAN, allowing 128Kbps of bandwidth for data. The school will have computers
(T1 devices), phones (T2 devices), adaptors for the phones (TA's) and one NT1
and NT2 device for connection to the four-wire network.
Benefits of ISDN implementation
- Community School has only a small number of users, so 128K is sufficient
bandwidth
- ISDN can carry voice, data and video
- ISDN can setup a call in less than 1 second
- ISDN has a faster tranfer rate
