NameChanger
For batch renaming of files on your Mac, it's hard to beat the free and easy NameChanger. Just download, unzip, and drag it into your Applications folder. You can now right-click "Rename with Name Changer" any set of files and/or drag them into their nice little UI.
Quick History
The Macintosh was introduced in 1984 and was one of the first personal computers to feature a graphical user interface (GUI) rather than a command-line interface.
Over the years, the Mac lineup has evolved and expanded to include both desktop and laptop models. Here's a general breakdown:
Desktops:
- iMac: An all-in-one desktop computer with the computer hardware integrated into the same case as the monitor.
- Mac mini: A small, standalone desktop machine that requires an external monitor.
- Mac Pro: A high-end desktop computer targeted at professionals and power users, which also requires an external monitor.
Laptops:
- MacBook Air: A thin and light laptop known for its portability.
- MacBook Pro: A laptop designed for professionals and power users, available in various sizes and configurations.
