A mind map is a graphical tool used to visually organize information, and in a Landmark program I realize you can actually use a mine map very effectively to map out the people you know by breaking out the different communities you know. I don't know if this has an official term, so let's just call it a people map. To create a people map:

Start by writing the main topic in the center of the page, such as "People I Know."
Create a branch for each community or group of people you want to include, such as family (going as far into cousins as you need to), friends, work colleagues, high school classmates, neighbors, sports team, dance community, choir group, exes, cities etc. Write the name of each community on a separate branch.
Write people's names in sub-branches.
Review your mind map and add any additional people or communities that you may have missed - what can help is to scroll through your phone Contact list, Facebook / Instagram connections or recent text messages and email threads.

By creating a mind map, you can visually organize all the people you know and easily see how they are connected to each other within different communities. This can be a useful tool for networking, keeping track of important relationships, and identifying potential new connections. You might see two people who should meet because they have similar passions, or maybe - just maybe - you'll see a love match between two friends. Aside from playing cupid... if you create an exhaustive list, you might look through it and see some people you really want to reach out to - see how they are doing. Write them a friendly hello, and what you appreciate about them - even if the last time you spoke was 5 years ago or back in high school. Either way, will probably put a smile on their face!
