Massage toys are amazing! As someone who loves to massage people, if anything toys massage guns make me feel redundant. No skill is needed, and you can give someone a great massage - just move it around their back. There are a number of massage toys, and it can get pretty fun when you get into the serious hardware. For instance at burning man they often have a camp with a bunch of massage tables and car buffers for an incredible massage.
Massage Gun

Massage guns are fantastic for portability (they are not too big) and the good ones will store a pretty long charge. You really can't go wrong with an Amazon search for "massage gun", but here's one I recommend:
- TOLOCO Massage Gun, Muscle Massage ... 7 power settings, 15 massage heads - Usually $99 but was only $40 (60% discount) when I bought it.. and maybe it will stay there.
Car Buffer
A car buffer is next level of massage, often used by athletes (see video). Ryobi is a reliable brand to go with... just be careful ordering on Amazon that you might want the big one, but it won't necessarily come with batteries... you actually might want to go to the Ryobi website directly. With a rechargeable battery might cost you about $120. There are smaller cheaper options with cords also. Cord and cordless both have pros and cons of course.
Some people also have a hack where they buy a cheaper drill and buy a buffer attachment. It will still be good, but not the same experiences as a full size car buffer!
Other Toys
- Neck and Shoulder Massager - I've heard the "naipo neck and shoulder massager" is incredible! ~$40
- Scalp massagers - Very affordable (~5-10) although often something you buy then forget you have it.
