TikTok is the social media video posting app giving Instagram for its money. I never even intalled TikTok until July 2022, when a friend told me that if I want my Consent to Kiss project or any other project to be successful I need followers. Apparently the whole world runs on followers now - donesn't matter how good your idea is, its about how many people blindly believe the mindless crap you say. Why even has time to watch TikTok?... Well apparently one billion people (about the same number as instagram), so wow.

How to: Generate a Video for TikTok With Extenal Software

I'm so new to this I suck, but if you make a video for TikTok with other software (like Adobe Premiere), the ideal resolution and durection to target is:

• Resolution: 1080 by 1920 pixels (the standard 9:16 resolution for smartphones)
• Duration: 15 secs (original), 60 secs, 3 mins or 10 mins (10 mins introduced 2022 for those older people with longer attenton spans)

After this you can upload it on the web UI on desktop pretty easily.

How to: Make a Video inside TikTok App

Most users will be making TikTok videos inside of the phone app, and it's pretty easy.. have the phone in portrait, shoot little bits, then you might like to add captions (which you can edit and more after).
