Here's a song I wrote in Hawaii for a girl I kind of like, but hey - Hawaii can be frustrating for dating. Talking with my best friend, I realized that probably the best barometer you have to measure your love for friends and romantic partners is how much you both light up to see each other. If that energy is repressed, release it... and if you're really not excited to see them - even if picking them up from the airport. Then maybe it's not meant to be.
On this island, more than anywhere else, I feel like it's quite possible, to run up to someone you like, and give them a huge hug - heck, one girl I know just likes to jump on people, which makes her crazy infectious fun to hang out with. That said, people with that high energy all the time, are sometimes - not always - but sometimes, the same people who only want to live in that happy bubble, so don't ever get introspective and you might be hard pressed talking to them about anything serious. This song covers both those themes.
