On this page I keep a list of any problems/errors I have with my MediaWiki.
Problem: Can't log on to wiki
ERROR MESSAGE:
Login error NoskeWiki uses cookies to log in users. You have cookies disabled. Please enable them and try again.
SOLUTION:
This is deceptive - it appear like a browser issue, but actually it happens to me when my webhosting goes over disk quota. As it turns out my MediaWiki writes out "core" files to my "w" folder... and every month or so I need to clear them out. I'm still not clear how I'd prevent these files being written, or what use they are.
