This sheet contains a list of questions to ask a "potential housemate" - someone who, after inspecting the house and chatting with the current housemates, is genuinely interested in moving in soon. Keep in mind these questions are not meant to be offensive or make you feel nervous - it's mostly a way for us to (a) get to know you better, (b) collect your contact details (so we can get back to you soon), (c) make sure we don't forget any important questions and (d) to break the ice! :-)

NOTE: As a policy if someone in the house has a girlfriend or boyfriend, it's nice if we can all meet them and get along - especially if they are likely to be around a lot. And if you have "relations" it's obviously important to be considerate - the walls may be thin!
BIGGER NOTE: At times friend or significant others may want to stay for a while. Within our house any stay must be discussed and mutually agreed upon in advance. If an extra person stays longer than _____ weeks in your room, they will be expected to pay their fare share of utilities and your room rent will increase a bare MINIMUM of _____. No matter how nice the person, mooching (staying for free) always leads to resentment, so we ask everyone to sign below.
