About

NOTE: This page is a daughter page of: Publishing

The first page of a book (right hand side after you turn the cover) is usually the title page which repeats the title of the book and author. As you turn the page, the next page (on the left hand side) is the copyright page. Here's what you write on a copyright page.

My Copyright Page Example

Here's the example I used in my Consent to Kiss book:

Copyright © 2022 Lyuba Venable and Andrew Noske.
All rights reserved. No part of this publication may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods, without the prior written permission of the publisher, except in the case of brief quotations embodied in critical reviews and certain other noncommercial uses permitted by copyright law.
VERSION: 1.2.2 (updated 2023-01-12)

ISBN-13: 9798841671718 (paperback)
ISBN-13: 9798841907121 (hard cover)

Copyright page is usually the second page, and you can make it small font and gray because you do not really want or need anyone to actually read it - you just need them to know it is there.
