A new support project I've started - think of it as a giant notepad.

Jason and guitar.Jason's Composed Music

Jason's the man! Jason Holdsworth (now a doctor) was a lecturer of mine in a couple of subjects, a good friend and was also my honours co-supervisor. Jasons is a really great guy (and he's also single for any ladies out there), and got lots of his students (including me) into a game called broomball, but only a few of us know that Jason is also a talented musician. He's an absolutely brilliant piano player, he's getting really good at electric guitar and he also composes music (show off).

The first set of tracks listed above are from an album called "Apple" he wrote and recorded himself (mostly piano). One of my favourite tracks is "scarlet" - it's a song he wrote for a very special friend of ours, Emmy, and played at her wedding. I drew a picture of Emmy as a wedding present, but I think he "won" the gift contest when he gave her this album. I've listened to it many times, and it's worth downloading.

Jason's second album he called "Lifesongs - Selections" (even though I suggested he call it "oranges"), and it's brilliant! He's used a lots of different instruments using his midi keyboard. My favourite track here is "dark gemstone". Comparing these two very different albums would be like comparing... well... apples and oranges. Hopefully Jason will make his own site on krimzon soon, where he can upload the rest of the tracks.
