Graduation!!!! May 2005:

  • 18/5 | UPDATE: Added graduation photos to photos section. (persoanl > photos)
  • 1/5 | UPDATE: Added guitar files to music section. (persoanl > music)
It took me almost two days - two I should have spent working on my PhD probably - but I've finally made a nicely formatted collection of guitar tabs; complete with macros! I'm so proud ..... yay for me! What are guitar tabs you ask? Bah - you ignoramus - they are the things what guitarist use to sing song and play their guitar-like things. Everyone knows that! Geesh. Next thing you'll be asking me what a macro is. Go to my "music" page and "special" files to see my collection.

Just arrived back from graduation! It was really nice to be back in Cairns with my family ... only a shame I couldn't have stayed longer. My uncle from Sydney even came up to watch! Graduation was pretty fun actually ... although it's a pretty bizarre tradition when you think about it. A bunch of people in ridiculous outfits expecting you to take them seriously. And as for the different gowns, I figure the more ridiculous he looks, the longer that person has been at uni and/or the smarter he is. :-)
It was great to catch up with a old uni people. Eugene won a prize, and is getting married soon, and all these people have lost weight. Amber is looking fabulous, big Jon is becoming more of a little Jon, and my mum and sister have both started dieting. I regret not staying longer, but that's how it goes I guess. I'm hoping to share these photos with friends, and in return you have to send me your graduation photos. :-)

  • 11/5 | Graduation approaching
My graduation is soon! I leave back to Cairns tomorrow and come back six days later (between 12th & 17th). Very exciting! Should be nice to get a break from floundering at UQ and see some of you Cairns people again. :-)
