| Christmas approaches
Wow.... almost another year gone. Where DOES the time go. So much has happened
to me this year too.
Last weekend was another big weekend - went to three birthday parties in as
many days - and so I'm glad this weekend I have nothing on.- I can just have
a quite one at home. However, I still feel quite guilty about something. Alby
recently pointed out that he has invited me to pretty much every parties he
has gone to (and so I now know most of his friends), but I've barely invited
Big Jon or Alby to anything! He's been great to me and I am such a bastard!
In reality most
of my events have been dance related parties - which involve (as you guessed)
- lots of dancing, and neither Big Jon or Alby like dancing. I still feel guilty
though, so I'm going to make sure the next time I go anywhere I invite them
and offer a lift. Big Jon needs a girlfriend. :-)
This time of year my motivation has really run down. I also think it's heat.
I should REALLY start writing a paper soon, as my supervisor adviced, but I'm
still mucking around with programming. I also added a new section to this site
(see above)... I'm calling it an "online notebook"
and I should have done it a while ago actually. Too many times I've written
notes into a book and simply lost them.
What
else is new... I'm actually struggling to think. Oh - we got Keryn a little
water fountain for her birthday - which she loves. Nikki's birthday was on the
same day, but she's in China, so she gets nothing... muhaahahaa! Keryn has this
cool thing she does whereby, when I say something stupid... (which, yes, is
*fairy* common) she puts her left arm down, opens her eyes wide, stares forward
into space like she's seen a ghost and uses her right hand to clap on the inside
of her left elbow... it's kind of cool - I'm thinking about stealing it - you
can too. :-)
Debbie gets back on the
20th, so that will be good.
I'm actually going to stay in Brissy this Christmas - it will be my first away
from home. If I write a Christmas letter this year it will be a very small one.
