A new support project I've started - think of it as a giant notepad.

During mid october (I think) Alby and I went with Kista to the koala sancturary, because she'd never seen them before. This is my favourite picture I took - but we got much closer of couse. Krista practically slept with one of these Kangaroos - but that's another story. ;) November 2005:

  • 13/1 | New Domain Name
About time!! I've finally got around to updating this website! Hey - cut me some slack!! I had to move the whole thing okay!!!! You may now notice it's at "www.andrewnoske.com" - which I intend to keep for LIFE... if not longer. So... if you really love me you'll sign my guestbook and add me to your favourites! I'm doing a quick upload tonight, but actually have some more content which is almost ready to add soon. Hooray! For now I have to go to bed! Good night kind sirs.

  • 2/11 | UQ Breakup dinner!!
Best night ever!!! It turns out our semester 2 break-up dance for uqdance was even better than our first! It was awesome!! Before the dinner we had an annual general meeting (AGM) which went pretty well. Roger's a really honest guy, so insisted that we get the 30 members we are suppose to have at our AGM to actually attend - whereas most other sites tend to forge signatures in order for the club to survive another year. Roger nominated me for treasurer a while before, and while I'm a bit unsure about using a cheque account (it really sux, but you can't use netbank for these clubs) and handling money, I think it will be good for me. Anyhow, no-one else was running, so I guess it's a given that I got the position - I just hope I'll be good at it! The new president, taking over from Roger, is a guy called Nadim. Nadim is a first year med student, and although he's pretty new to the club he is such an awesome guy! Just a really great guy - and you can tell it straight away - you can pick that he's a nice guy from a kilometer away. Our secretaty will be Natalie, who is also wonderful, and a great dancer! I look forward to working with both of them next year - should be fun!
Where was I. Oh yes! After the AGM about thirty of us went to a place called Casablanca for dinner and then dancing. Dinner was great - Michelle is a champion, and organised the whole thing - and we worked out that at our table there were something like fifeteen different nationalities! Wow! After dinner I eventually figured out how to pay the bill (with Roger and Michelles help). They make a great couple - I guess that makes me their oversized adopted son hey? Anyhow, then we danced, and danced... and just kept going. I had uni the next day, but we kept dancing until three. My absolute favourite dancer was Julie though! Julie is another PhD student who spends most of her time at Alexandra Hosptial studying travel bugs which dig into your eye sockets and all sorts of wonderful gross stuff like that! She's also just been on a trip to China which we talked about over dinner, and she obviously really loved it. Julie is such a happy-go lucky girl - she rocks!! But hey - on the dance floor we both rocked!! She is a great dancer, and she said she was amazed at how much I improved since she left for China. Awww... such a sweet girl. :-) I guess I have improved a bit, but with a partner like Julie I think it's easy to dance twice as well as normal! At 3 in the monring the last of us finally went home. Best break-up ever!!! Is sad that some of us are leaving though - espcially Kim - we'll miss you Kim!
